Kaepernick said early on he was not against the military but wanted to help motivate social change. But for many fans, it was interpreted as un American, unpatriotic. And some owners worry about that.
What I would love to see is for him to hook up with the Eagles. Everyone’s biggest complaint is his style, and who else can you think of with a similar style in the NFL? Only one guy comes to mind, and that’s Michael Vick. Since Michael seems to not be able to play a whole year, the possibilities are endless to use both players. Also, think of the rushing yards the two could put up.
